To kickstart the introductions here at Wise-Sync, first up is Justine!
Meet Justine
Q: Tell us a little bit about your role at Wise-Sync:
Justine: I started at Wise-Sync in January this year, and was welcomed with open arms from the amazing team. As the Product Owner (and BA & Scrum Master), I'm responsible for determining product requirements for both Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay; ensuring the team follows our Scrum processes and practises; managing and prioritising the product backlog, and helping to determine which items we should be working toward developing and when.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Wise-Sync?
Justine: "I am always up for a challenge, and with the Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay product backlog and roadmap - that's exactly what I got! I'm always kept on my toes, there's always something that needs my focus and attention... but the people are what makes the job rewarding! We are one big family with the same goals and motivation, all striving for success.
Q: What are you binge-watching right now?
Justine: I just finished watching the Spanish Netflix series Money Heist (La Casa de Papel). Whoa... talk about a series that leaves you hanging! Bring on Season 5! FYI, I cheated and watched it with American voice dubbing - I'm not really one for subtitles...
Q: If you could have dinner with one person in the world, who would it be and why?
Justine: Easy, Sir David Attenborough. Not only has he inspired generations of humans to respect and appreciate nature, but he's also helped to shape myself as a person. I spent my entire childhood and teen-hood passionate about studying animals, which led me to completing a Masters in Zoology. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to use it professionally... but my love and awe of nature and animals continues to this very day, as does my utmost respect for Sir David."
